Before we begin, the Two Book Thieves are now the Two and a Half Book Thieves as my wonderful co-blogger, Becky welcomed little Maisie into the world! (x) So whilst Becky is enjoying her mini-me, I’ve decided to write up a little post featuring some books with the wintery, Christmassey vibes. This was actually harder than expected however, I hope you find something you like the look of! Continue reading “9 Books For the Winter/Christmas Season”
If there’s one post I always enjoy doing, it’s book tags and I thought it was the perfect time to do the End of the Year Book Tag. I’m not sure who the original creator of this tag is so please let me know if you know! I’ve also tagged some other bloggers I nominate to take part. And we are onto part 3 of this series which will be longer when the other books on my TBR finally get a cover so stay tuned! But for now, I have another 20 books featuring LGBTQ+ characters released in 2020. I am still on the lookout for more and if you know of any, drop a comment below! Last thing is my usual disclaimer saying that these books obviously haven’t been released yet so if I have added any incorrect information, then please let me know! Anyway, enjoy… Continue reading “2020 LGBTQ+ RELEASES PART III”
So. The first part of this did really well and as well as being thankful for all the support, it also makes me so happy seeing all the excitement for books featuring diverse characters. Not only that but the fact that I can write a second part to this post (and perhaps a third) just goes to show how much more diverse books are becoming. There was a time where you would struggle to find books featuring characters with different identities and sexualities. Now look! Of course there’s still a way to go but I’m so happy we’re on the right track. For now, here are another twenty books being released in 2020 featuring LGBTQ+ characters in order of release! Continue reading “2020 LGBTQ+ RELEASES PART II”
If there’s one thing already making me excited for 2020, it’s all the incredible looking/sounding books featuring LGBTQ+ characters. I am apologising in advance to my bank account and TBR pile but I am willing to suffer. As all of these books (obviously) aren’t released yet and only a few lucky people have received early copies, I can’t say all of my information in terms of representation is 100% and of course I will edit as more information comes out. However, from the research I have done, these are 20 books released next year featuring LGBTQ+ characters. (In order of release!) Continue reading “2020 LGBTQ+ Releases Part I”
So. It’s 1am and I have been staring at my ceiling for the past twenty minutes trying to think of some blog posts I can write in November. I have just finished a reread of a favourite series of mine (will be mentioned below) and I thought to myself. Hey, you know what I love in books? The found family trope. And that is how this post began and hopefully, it will become a thing most Thursdays with different topics/tropes etc. So without further ado, here are some of my favourite books with the found family trope.
When we talk about found family, we mean people who are not blood family, but who a person forges deep and meaningful bonds with based on things like shared values, mutual care and support, understanding, unconditional love, and positive regard.

So November appears to be a big month in the publishing world, especially November 5th as you will soon see, so I thought I’d put together a small list of some books being released this month. Of course, these aren’t all of them but these are the ones that I’ve either been anticipating or have caught my eye recently. I hope you find something that captures your attention!
