2020 LGBTQ+ RELEASES PART IV

final.jpg

In a shocking turn of events, I am already able to compile a list of another 20 books released in 2020 with LGBTQ+ characters! I didn’t expect to be able to find another bunch in such a short amount of time but authors and publishers are pulling it out of the bag for the new year. A huge thank you to @hrngrystrs over on Twitter for letting me know of a few more books to add! This list has a nice mixture of middle-grade, graphic novels, anthologies, YA and adult so something for everyone! Continue reading “2020 LGBTQ+ RELEASES PART IV”

9 Books For the Winter/Christmas Season

Untitled-1.jpg

Before we begin, the Two Book Thieves are now the Two and a Half Book Thieves as my wonderful co-blogger, Becky welcomed little Maisie into the world! (x) So whilst Becky is enjoying her mini-me, I’ve decided to write up a little post featuring some books with the wintery, Christmassey vibes. This was actually harder than expected however, I hope you find something you like the look of! Continue reading “9 Books For the Winter/Christmas Season”

November Releases // 2019

Untitled-1.jpg

So November appears to be a big month in the publishing world, especially November 5th as you will soon see, so I thought I’d put together a small list of some books being released this month. Of course, these aren’t all of them but these are the ones that I’ve either been anticipating or have caught my eye recently. I hope you find something that captures your attention! Angharad’s August 2019 Wrap Up

Untitled_Panorama1

Is it just me or did August fly by? It’s scary how quickly this year is going however, that does mean we’re going into my favourite time and season of the year! I’m so excited for it all to get cosy again so I can stop living in a constant ball of sweat. Lovely imagery, I know. Ok, so this month I managed to read 12 books. Not as many as last month but I’m still happy. It would have been thirteen but I did DNF one book this month which is actually rare for me but something I need to start doing more often. So here’s what I read in the month of August! –  Continue reading “Angharad’s August 2019 Wrap Up”

Co-Owning a Book Blog

Untitled_Panorama1.jpg

Hi guys!
So recently on Twitter we’ve seen a lot of people asking questions about co-blogging or looking into finding a co-blogger. Since it seems to be a popular topic at the moment, we thought we’d do a little FAQ on the topic. We’re not experts but we have both been blogging here together for a few years now, so we think we can definitely give you an insight into it! If you have anymore questions we don’t cover, feel free to ask in the comments.

Magical Readathon – N.E.W.T’s 2019

Untitled_Panorama1So after completing and loving the Reading Rush last month, I definitely wanted to do another readathon this month as it really is the best motivation. I asked around to see which ones were being hosted and I was recommended the Magical Readathon hosted by Book Roast. This is a really complex readathon inspired by Harry Potter and it’s clear how much work has been put into it. However, I hit a slight snag when I found out that I should have first completed my O.W.L’s in April. Even though I’m usually a stickler for rules, I’ve decided to swap them around and sit my N.E.W.T’s first. I’ve also picked the Librarian career to aim towards so here are the books I’ll be reading in August in order to get my qualifications.

Angharad’s July 2019 Wrap Up

Untitled_Panorama1.jpgSo, I swear I’ve been possessed this entire month because nothing else explains the fact that after reading hardly any books this year, I read 18 books this month?! I’d like to think it’s a combination of the Reading RushPride Book Club and pure boredom. I’m super proud of myself and am hoping this continues for the rest of the year. I’ve found some new favourites, did some crying and have almost wanted to throw some books through the window. But anyway, here is what I read this month –  Continue reading “Angharad’s July 2019 Wrap Up”
