If there’s one post I always enjoy doing, it’s book tags and I thought it was the perfect time to do the End of the Year Book Tag. I’m not sure who the original creator of this tag is so please let me know if you know! I’ve also tagged some other bloggers I nominate to take part.

Are there any books you started this year you need to finish?
There are a few I’ve started and because of not being in the mood, I’ve put down but a few I can think of off the top of my head is To Be Taught, If Fortunate by Becky Chambers, The Odyssey by Homer and I Hope You Get This Message by Farah Naz Rishi

Do you have an autumnal book to transition to the end of the year?
For this, the first book I thought of was The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah. Do I know if this book even has anything to do with Autumn? Nope. But does it have a very Autumnal cover? Yes. I’ve been meaning to read this after loving Kristin’s previous book, The Nightingale so I think November time would be the perfect time to read it.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
Since posting my most anticipated November releases, I officially have a few but at the top of my list is Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater and The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
Whether or not I will actually read these or not is another question but my priorities are The Diviners by Libba Bray, Crier’s War by Nina Varela and Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir.

Is there a book that you think could still shock you and become your favourite?
I don’t think any of them would shock me as I’m going into them assuming I will like them based on story etc but I can definitely see Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón becoming a favourite as it has all the aspects of a story I enjoy.

Have you already made reading plans for 2020?
I don’t even make monthly or weekly reading plans so I couldn’t say for sure what my plans for 2020 are. However, I just hope I manage around 50-100 reads again and find even more favourites.
