Bec’s November TBR

So since November is my last month to catch up on reading before I give birth (ahhh!) I decided to make a TBR for the month consisting of books I either need to read for reviews/blog tours, new releases for the month that I’m excited about, and a couple of re-reads that I’ve been meaning to do since starting maternity leave. It’s definitely quite an ambitious TBR but hopefully I’ll get through a fair bit of it. Here we go!

Girls of Storm and Shadow by Natasha Ngan
(re-read/blog tour)
I’m taking part in the GOSAS blog tour in a couple of weeks, so although I did only read it in July, I definitely want to re-read it and tab a few things for my review. I also read the ARC and have since been sent a finished copy from Hodder, so I’d love to read this in case any changes have been made.
Girls of Storm and Shadow is released on the 5th November.

The Sky Weaver by Kristen Ciccarelli

(blog tour)
I’ll be on the blog tour for The Sky Weaver at the end of the month so of course am planning to get it read before then! I’ve loved The Last Namsara books so far and am really excited for this next instalment.
The Sky Weaver is released on the 14th November.

Havenfall by Sara Holland
(review)
Havenfall isn’t released until March next year, however it seems like a great cosy read, and since it’s a new fantasy I’d quite like to get it read whilst I have a bit of peace and quiet. I’m on a blogger reading retreat this weekend and knew it’d be the perfect book to bring along (as well as some of the other books in this TBR).
Havenfall is released on the 3rd March 2020.

Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
(re-read)
Yes, I know I only read Ninth House in September… but since it put me in such a huge slump, I decided a re-read couldn’t come fast enough. Again, I did originally read the ARC of this, so now that I have a finished copy (make that um, three finished copies) I did want to re-read the final version of the story. This is another book I’ve brought with me on the reading retreat.

The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon
(re-read)
This is definitely the most ambitious book on this TBR, but I figured if I don’t re-read it when I’m on maternity leave, when will I? As with a few others on this list, I read the ARC of Priory last year and am yet to read the finished copy. I’ve seen that Samantha’s ARC’s and finished copies do have multiple differences so have been meaning to read my hardback for a while now. I think now’s the time to try!

Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw
(November release)
I’ve been excited for Winterwood for a long time and since it’s released on the 5th November, I’ll definitely try and read it this month. I loved Shea’s first book, The Wicked Deep, so I’m really looking forward to this one.
Winterwood is released on the 5th November.

The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black
(November release)
Probably a book on so many people’s TBR’s this month and definitely one I’m hoping to read as soon as it’s released. I still can’t get over that cliffhanger in The Wicked King, so I’m sure I’ll devour The Queen of Nothing pretty quickly.
The Queen of Nothing is released on the 19th November.

What’s on your November TBR? Are there any other upcoming releases I should have on my radar?
love,
Becky
